With these three college admissions, we offer to take Caitlin out to an Indian dinner, and she accepts the invitation. What a nice time! Caitlin sits and engages and invests in the experience. Sharon and I get something of a revelation. If she spent less time chasing her HS associates around, if she were less desperate to be away from home all the time, our relationships would be transformed. She’s not around enough, to have fun enough. Without habitual, comfortable recreation, we’re left only with stubbornness and our differences.
