What a change in Drew, or rather, what a restitution. Since her injury the petulant, possessive, fall apart-y child of the last four or six months, has practically disappeared. In her place we have the old, real woman. She helps, unbidden, cheerfully. She’s pliable, funny (still with the accustomed bite), delightful. We ebb and we flow of course; as with our marriage, our present prosperity, and all sorts of other things, what’s great now will at some point give way to difficulty. Still, things are great now.
