Heading home from Canada on 89, toward Yellowstone and in. There’s that national park feeling in the air. We stop at this Norris place, to dip our toes in, as it were. I’d thought of just a quick look, but we ended up taking the whole three mile loop. I was completely ignorant of all this. It’s a great big whole moonscape, covered with pots and shoots and geysers in impressive array. The kids are very taken by it all.
The little ones ask very nicely to borrow the camera to shoot this or that bit. There’s a sign, usually, that we like something enough to want to hold or keep or possess it.
