Little things get done. I leave the obvious big things completely. Spence is very needy/greedy about his mother. He hovers and clings and interrupts, and begins to get positively hostile when he doesn’t get quite what he wants. Sharon, at this point, ignores him. This might not be the most effective strategy.

The kids enjoy the irrigation. We watch for a long time as a bird takes a bath. The girls play tag on the trampoline. Drew gets caught as she runs past the protective netting. It grabs the little toe on her left foot and breaks it. That’s kind of ironic, since it’s there to protect the jumpers and all. There it is, pointing all akimbo. Hoping to make the best of things, we anticipate that if we get lost, it will direct us in the way we should go. It’s actually kind of funny. Even moaning and crawling and whimpering, Drew can appreciate the fact.
