The boys want to swing.  Spence, who looks at Sarah and figures out pumping, gets a medium sized push and a big stricken look on his face.  It takes him a couple of swings to realize that he’s safe and having fun.
Matt just keeps saying “push me agin!”  There’s an awful moment where I push him at that instant that his bottom slips off the front of the swing.  So I essentially drive him right down into the wood chips, back and head first.  The usual pattern plays itself out.  He cries, he cries and talks about why’s he’s crying, then he talks about something else and stops crying altogether.  Then he goes to play again.
