Claire is really enjoying her homework. She tells me a lot of things. “Are you wondering why I’m so talkative? I just feel happy!” Spence happily tells of his math teacher’s recent engagement. And that he improves a whopping twenty-six seconds in this last cross-country meet. And that his team is fun, and fencing is exciting, and that his bird book is interesting, and how he’d like to learn about interior design, or buy a zoo.
